At PhotoBooker, we are passionate about connecting people with talented photographers. We strive to make it as easy as possible for you to connect with clients looking for a photographer in your area.
Are there any signup fees?
Nope! Our mission is to provide clients with a large directory of photographers to hire for their next photography session. With this in mind, PhotoBooker is free for photographers to join - forever.
I want to join Photobooker as a photographer? How do I get started?
We make it easy to start accepting your bookings as a PhotoBooker photographer! Just sign up to create your photographer profile, and once we verify your listing, your profile will be live so that those bookings can start rolling in!
I'm not a professional photographer, but I really love taking photos. Can I still join as a Photobooker photographer?
Definitely! We welcome professional photographers, amateur photographers, and photography enthusiasts, as long as you have an existing online presence. To get started, join here.
Can I set my own hourly rates?
Yes - we believe in giving photographers the power to set their own hourly rates! Who else knows your value better than you? We only ask that the minimum hourly rate is $50/hr.
What kind of fees are taken from the total booking?
For every booking made through PhotoBooker, a 20% service fee will be applied.
How do I get paid?
On-boarding with PhotoBooker requires you to connect with Stripe, a nationally acclaimed payment processor that is trusted by popular brands such as Target and Instacart. In addition to being a PCI compliant payment processor, Stripe is integrated to work seamlessly with PhotoBooker bookings. Payouts are processed once the photo session has taken place, the photographer has uploaded the images and marked the job complete. Once a payout is processed, the funds are deposited to the bank account or debit card within two business days. To learn more about stripe please click here
Who owns the copyright to the photos?
Photographers retain the full copyright to all images.
I haven't received any bookings - what can I do?
They say the best things come to those who wait, but we like to take a more proactive approach! Try adding more shoot types, updating your profile to provide more information in your bio, or updating your portfolio! You can also try increasing your availability or adjusting your hourly rate. Lastly, we always encourage you to share your listing to friends and family. Pretty soon, your calendar will start filling up!
What is the cancellation policy?
Sometimes things come up or the weather doesn't cooperate. Preference is given to the photographer and client reaching a mutually acceptable date and time to reschedule. If this is not possible, please contact our support team to assist you further.
How are the ratings determined?
Your star rating will be a weighted average of ratings received. When you first join PhotoBooker, we import recent reviews from your social and online profiles. Once you complete your sessions through PhotoBooker, your clients will have the option to give you that rave review!
When will you be available in my area?
Currently, we are available in select markets. Located elsewhere? We’d love to know where you are so we can notify you once we expand to other markets! Tell us about yourself here.
Can I sync my own calendar with Photobooker?
Not yet! But we understand how important this is and hope to provide a calendar-sync option in the future!
